Dan Ball is a Public Policy Director for Meta, where he focuses on global over-the-top (OTT) video policy and North American connectivity policy. Prior to joining Meta Dan was a deputy policy director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, where he led the Committee’s Communications, Technology, Innovation and the Internet team. Dan previously worked at the Federal Communications Commission, and in private practice doing both telecommunications law and litigation. Dan has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pomona College, and a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.
