Policy Powerhouse: Top Congressional, FCC and Business Leaders will Address Broadband and 5G during 
The 2020 INCOMPAS Show

WASHINGTON, D.C., (September 8, 2020) –The nation’s leading policymakers from Capitol Hill to the FCC and top business leaders, will be speaking at The 2020 INCOMPAS Show, September 14-16. INCOMPAS, the internet and competitive networks association, today announced a new keynote speaker: Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC), House Majority Whip and Chairman of the Rural Broadband Task Force. 

Rep. Clyburn, who earlier this year introduced the Accessible, Affordable Internet for All Act to help meet the challenge of COVID-19, will join other bipartisan leaders addressing show attendees. The opening keynote will feature Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO of Dell Technologies, and Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, House Energy and Commerce Committee addresses the show on Tuesday.

The show also will feature FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, who will be making his first address to the INCOMPAS membership, and Commissioners Brendan Carr and Geoffrey Starks, who have been national leaders on deployment and accessibility. 

“This year’s INCOMPAS Show is going virtual, but the line-up of policy heavyweights is rock solid,” said Chip Pickering, CEO of INCOMPAS. “We are truly honored to be joined by bipartisan leaders from Congress and the FCC, as well as those deploying broadband and 5G, who will share their insights on access and competition.”
