Brian is director of Public Policy at Meta (formerly Facebook), where he works with a broad spectrum of policy makers at the federal level to educate and advocate on issues critical to keeping Facebook and the broader technology industry competitive, safe and innovative. Brian has been dedicated to telecommunications policy for more than 10 years. Prior to joining Facebook, Brian spent five years as vice president of Federal Legislative Affairs at Verizon, and four years as policy advisor to U.S. Senator John Kerry (D-MA).
 
He earned a Bachelor’s degree from State University of New York College at Geneseo, and a Masters of Public Policy from the George Washington University.
