Q: What does your company do and how long has it been in operation?
A: Since 2005, DoubleHorn Communications has been designing and implementing a wide range of business communications, hosted IT and cloud services for small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs).

Q: To what do you attribute your company’s success in the communications industry?
A: DoubleHorn offers a single point-of-contact for all hosted VoIP/PBX, managed broadband and networking, SIP trunking, cloud services, cloud-based B2B applications, SIP peering, XaaS and XoIP.

The company’s secure, reliable, DoubleHorn Core Network and associated management tools allow the company to offer SLAs guaranteeing greater than five-nines reliability.  The carrier-grade DoubleHorn Core Network is a highly-available, fault-tolerant, reliable network that is on-net with major carriers and is fully compliant with all federal and local security standards at the application, network and packet level.

Reliability, high-touch service delivery, advanced technology offerings, and a comprehensive technology and services portfolio continue to fuel DoubleHorn’s success.

Q: What have been the biggest obstacles your company has faced in the marketplace?
A: As the marketplace began evaluating the growing number of cloud-based solutions being offered by multiple vendors, there had been concerns that some of those vendors might not offer adequate data security.  These concerns stalled the adoption of cloud solutions in general.  However, more recently, there have been several advancements in cloud security, which have significantly alleviated these concerns.  We expect the adoption rate of cloud-based solutions to continue increasing.
 
Q: What do you see as your greatest challenges going forward?
A: Our customers are increasingly adopting cloud-based business applications. Our challenge is to keep up with their demand by moving more quickly to evaluate and select the applications that are most in demand. We then test and certify interoperability and place the integrated applications into our MyDoubleHorn marketplace where they can be purchased and provisioned in real-time, with the confidence that they are fully tested and integrated with the DoubleHorn suite of applications.

Q: What have been some of your company’s most recent achievements?
A: We continually introduce products and services that give our customers the communications solutions they need, freeing them from worrying about technology so that they can focus on their business.

  • Panasonic Announces SIP Interoperability Certification For DoubleHorn, Panasonic SIP Endpoints certified for use with DoubleHorn's cloud-based voice platform.
  • Microsoft Lync Interoperability, interoperability testing with expected certification Q2 2013.
  • SIPedge 2.0, Hosted SIP Trunks featuring powerful reporting tools for quality monitoring, usage tracking and capacity planning.
  • IPOne™ Cloud, a suite of secure, enterprise-class cloud computing resources designed specifically for small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs).
