Q: What does your company do and how long has it been in operation? 
A: Appcore, which was founded by CTO Brian Patrick Donaghy in 2008, automates the business of cloud computing by delivering cloud automation management platforms for enterprise private clouds and service provider public clouds. Q: To what do you attribute your company’s success in the communications industry? 
A: Appcore enables service providers to capitalize on the growing potential of virtualization and cloud computing. Appcore AMP was specifically designed to deploy turn-key public and private cloud environments in 90 days. Appcore allows service providers to leverage their existing network to provide cloud service to increase monthly recurring revenue. 

Q: What have been the biggest obstacles your company has faced in the marketplace? 
A: The biggest challenge Appcore has faced is education. The term “cloud” means many things in the industry and it has been necessary to educate service providers on the business cases that are applicable to them. 

Q: What do you see as your greatest challenges going forward? 
A: Continued education is vital to Appcore’s success. We need to continue to educate service providers on how to best utilize their existing networks to provide the cloud locally. We alleviate this challenge by assisting them in creating a custom go-to-market strategy based around their business model, ultimately helping them compete with larger cloud providers.
